Character

Name: Naomi Misora
Source: Death Note
Type: Player
Canon Point: Immediately after her death in canon.
History: On the Death Note Wiki; I'm pulling her from the anime, with additional regards to the spinoff novel, "Another Note." The wiki isn't very complete on the events of another note, but I'll be referencing relevant parts as I explain her personality.

Personality:

Naomi Misora was described to have lived as though walking through an unfamiliar town, and she believed that if she were to live it over then she surely would have done it much differently. She was once stated as not having a strong sense of justice - in the novel, she said to L that she believed there were people that justice cannot save, and that there are people that evil can save. Her biggest fault in the FBI was showing mercy to a 13-year-old killer, hesitating to shoot him and causing him to escape and her team to suffer unnecessary injuries. However, while working on the LABB case with L, he taught her a different perspective on justice when he equated it to kindness. She was somehow deeply impressed by that, which seems to imply that kindness itself is something that she values quite a lot, though she might not have been aware of it at the time. Whatever the case, she trusts L because of her experience working with him.

She seems to be a cautious and thoughtful person with a somewhat reactionary personality, but she actually has a lot of inner strength too. Her determination shined best in the main canon where in her desire to avenge her fiancee, she quickly uncovered things about Kira that no one else was able to. It's also evident in that Misora is apparently the type to never run away from a fight. While in the FBI, her nickname was "Misora Massacre", which was implied to carry negative connotations (meaning this trait sometimes comes to a fault of hers.) She also has an incredibly low tolerance for strangeness, often reacting with horror and disgust at "Ryuzaki's" bizarre mannerisms. While Misora may generally try to be polite to others, inside her head she's much more sarcastic.

Her other weakness is that she can let her feelings get the best of her, most notable of which was trusting Light because of the way he reminded her of L, a fatal mistake. The incident with the young criminal is another example, and there's also the fact that despite her intelligence, she just keeps ending up alone with psychopaths that end up skillfully manipulating her. The canon always insists that she would have figured things out regardless, but that she has terrible luck. So there is that; apparently the universe is just plain against her.

Abilities: She has no superhuman abilities, but she's sharply intelligent. She is a former FBI agent and so presumably has skills needed for that line of work. She also knows the dance-martial art, Capoeira.
Entry Fee: Her memories of Raye Penber, her fiancee.
Starting Pin: Masamune
Samples: Dear Mun post!
